PUTTIN' ON THE BLITZ!!!
The Field of Grace Planning Blitz was a great success, thanks to the fifty folks who gave up their Saturday morning on December 8th! There were nine planning teams that converged to discuss issues facing this new community: Social Services:Families; Social Services: Children; Social Services: Seniors; Education:Children; Marketing; Fundraising; Social Services: Adoption; Building Design and Construction; Intergenerational Community Center. Our Prayer Team was joined by the praying saints in Fort Wayne, Indiana to cover our time together that day!
The "Blitz" served to reconnect the people who worked on Field of Grace committees several years ago along with new folks who are committed to serve in this ministry. For many of the teams, it served to regroup and redirect the focus and to energize for the next steps ... and for others, it brought definition and closure to the issue. Many teams will be moving forward to complete their work and make recommendations to the leadership.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated! Your contribution of hard work and dedication has been and is critical to framing the ministry for success! It is helping to define the business points for the Field of Grace business!
We look forward to great thing in '08 thanks to all of you!!!
